My Dear Friend,
To all whom I know and whom I don't know. Once again I am so glad to come to you with my ministry reports of September and October. You are my precious friend and
partner. I am really encouraged when I am able to share some thing in email. I hope you would also enjoy it. World is coming to an end and the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ is very imminent.
Thank you for your encouraging words to me and to my son. My family is everything to me in the world. My heart is still shacking because of horrible thing I saw. We will send boy to the school when he is fully recovered. I commit everything to the Lord. He knows best then we do. Devil is very smart, he don't want to see the happiness of God's children. Let us be aware of this. Let us lift each one in prayer.
Pastors Meeting
I am continuing to do ministry despite many problems and challenges. I swallow my tears and bring smile to my face and encourage my Pastors
and Leaders in ministry. Some time it is very difficult. I believe that He who has called me is faithful. It was good to meet with our Pastors and Evangelists. Together with the Pastors we made plan to preach the gospel, we renewed our faith in God; we prayed for each other, we talked about our problems and how to help each other. As the Bible say with many adviser they succeed. I will share what Pastors says about their need after this report in separate email. It was good to have around 20 Pastors come for the meeting.
Christian Resource International sent us boxes of books in August. Every year, new converts are joining the fellowship of the saints and numbers of new Churches are born all around Nepal. Little resources produced by
Nepalese are not sufficient. We want God's resources for God's purposes. People wait for long for a single Bible in the village and Bible College students come to ask us Bibles. There is not a big blessing then to read a Bible in the hand. How precious are those people who have donated their books and the word of God with us. We would like to say big thank you to CRI for making it possible for us to read the precious writings of famous Christian writers. Reading is geting inspired.
50 Nepali Bibles were purchase in September and were given to very needy people in Ilam. Bible Society publishes sufficient Bibles but they are hard to get in village and in mountain. Hand carry is the only mediums to bring Bibles to them. One Pastor said 'every day and night I read the bible and keep it near my pillow.' People travel 12 hours to get a single Bible, we bring Bible to their house because there are no shop in village where they get Bible. Thank you for helping us to purchase the word of God.
makes a call to know more about Church Boys Team. www.churchboysunited.org. Church Boys foundation raises the voice of Christians in Nepal. Nepal still treats Christians as a second level citizen and is separated from the privileges. We make Jesus name heard through the football. Church Boys participated in Jahada Challenge Cup and become the second and received Cash prize of 500 US dollar. Good thing in Church Boys is when it goes to play the games outside Kathmandu; team carries Bibles and thousands of tracts to distribute on the way and to the people. Many new people have shown the interest and backslidden also has reaffirmed their faith in God. People want to know more about Jesus. I will forward some emails and letters of interest they have told me, later on.
Village Visits- During my village visits, I visited many small house Churches that our ex Bible School students has started. Group of like 7, 10, 12, sometime 5 people are gather every night in some houses. New people new disciples. They are learning to forsake drinks, smoking, lie, stealing, fighting, and adultery etcs etcs. What other society were unable to do, Jesus is doing in their life. They sing hymns, worship and read the portion of scripture and pray for each other. They even prayed for you. Is not this good thing? Purna Kumar Rai, Binod Dhimal, Paul Rai, Prema Rai, Pratap
Praja, Pratap Tamang, Petrus Mukhia are some few people who are doing very good ministry now days. They are worthy of our prayers. Through them many people are turning to Jesus. I am so glad that places like Domukha, Kerkha, Dasami, Urlabari, Gaighat, Basamadi, has many new member added to their group. Not only me, my leaders and Pastors as well are burning with desire for ministry. Prayers-
For Laptop- I have some prayers too. You know that my computer has been crashed. My desktop computer was almost four year old anyway. Instead of repairing and repairing old computer, I am praying for new Laptop now. It would be Toshiba or Sony. Please tell me which one is good since I don't know them. Long battery life, strong, quick processing and able to resist water. Is there such kind of computer in the world? Without computer, I feel it is very difficult for me to communicate and work.
For Bible School- Another prayer request to remember is prayer for Bible School in Ilam. There is slide change in dates but it will happen. Christ's Disciple asks us to organize short term school in their place and we receive this type of request from everywhere. People ask evangelistic teams, outreach teams, sports team, film team and others. I would like to request YOU to send messenger to
Nepal. Nepal truly is very hungry for the word of God. I want to see Nepal turn to God. This is not impossible. This is possible. For Annual Conference and Students Reunion Program- Please pray for our Annual conference and Students reunion program in December 24-27 in Kathmand. We would like to give bus fare to the students and atleast one way fare to the leaders. We also need fund for food and accomodaton. We need 3000 dollar for fare, food, accomodation and for some gifts to the Pastors.
For New House- One very important prayer request is please pray for a new house for us. We want to shift from here to some bigger place so that we can welcome everybody that come to visit us. We also need some extra room for guests. Two floor house can be found on 250 dollar and up. That would be another challenge for me. We need some partner who can help us financially so that we can continue to do evangelism work and equip other for ministry.
I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your emails, encouragement, prayer and financial support. Without your support we would not have come to this, so far. I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learnt the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed and hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. Philippiens 4 : 12.
There are lots of news around but this is the general news. Thank you for your precious prayer. Please continue to pray for my Laptop, Bible School in Ilam, Annual Conference and Reunion Program for a new house for us.
Special Prayer Request- Prayer for Orphanage Home. I nearly forgot to ask your prayer for orphanage land. We have given 3000 dollar and we still need to give 7000 dollar to land lord. Please pray that God will supply every need in the ministry. I am sorry this letter is very long.
